Rinaldo’s interdisciplinary media art installations using robotics drift between natural and technological systems.

“Integration of the organic and electro-mechanical elements asserts a confluence and co-evolution between living and evolving technological material. I am fascinated and encouraged with human kinds struggle to evolve technological systems that move toward intelligence and autonomy which are modeled from our current conceptions of the natural.”

This lecture, at the Myers School of Art was attended by students and faculty from across disciplines of computer science, biology, art, and design.  Rinaldo toured labs in spider and gecko areas and met with students in interactive design class taught by professor Markus Vogl.http://kenrinaldo.com/frame_bio.html
